As you will know if you have been following our blog, we have now completed our tattoo removal review and have bought yet another new laser to replace our old system.

Cynosure Affinity Q-Switched YAG at 532nm and 1064nm.

This is not a $1000 Chinese import but a high-energy, high-spec laser with a list price of £48,000.

We have worked with Cynosure for many years (our excellent hair removal system is one of theirs) and following a review of lasers from Candela, Chromogenex and Lynton, selected the Cynosure system.

The system has a high technical specification and massively outperforms the cheap equipment we see increasingly used by tattooists and beauty salons.

In short, our laser delivers double the energy, in a single pulse through a deeply penetrating 6mm spot.

A typical Chinese laser delivers half the energy in a multiple pulse through a shallow 1mm spot.

We have twice the energy and 4 times the power and can reach pigment at least twice as deep as a cheap Chinese laser.

This WILL give you the BEST results, being the most pigment removed in the smallest number of treatments.
