In the last newsletter I told you about the new Hairmax home-use laser comb for increasing hair growth. This hand-held diode laser has FDA approval in the USA for the treatment of hair loss. I am still using mine and can so far report a long-term reduction in the number of hairs I am shedding each day, as well as an increase in new growth which is particularly obvious around the margins of my hair line. We are now selling the Hairmax combs for home use for £400.00.

We are now looking at the possibility of introducing an 'in-clinic' treatment for hair loss along the same lines as the Hairmax but incoporating 170 diode lasers into one device and delivering more energy in a shorter time-frame, meaning weekly 10 minute clinic appointments for 6 months rather than countless hours of home combing.

As ever, we will be checking and rechecking every little detail before committing ourselves to this technology in order to be able to offer a treatment which we believe will fulfill expectations. Naturally, as with all of our treatments, I will be trying it out first myself so watch this space - I could be the new Cheryl Cole (if I can lose 8 stone and pick up an accent and some famous toy boys that is...)

We also still have our fantastic Mr. Haseeb doing hair transplants for those clients who are not suitable for other treatments, such as drug therapy and laser, so we have answers across the board.
