The programme is based upon the usual expert delivery involving lectures and support from:
Jo Martin Clinical Director Mapperley Park
Mrs Sarah Pape Consultant Plastic Surgeon, Royal Victoria Hospital, Newcastle
Mr Bruce Braithwaite Consultant Vascular Surgeon, Nottingham Hospital Trust
Paul Stapleton Managing Director and LPA, Mapperley Park

This expertise, while it can be transferred through a formal lecture programme comes alive when demonstrated against the range of available equipment. Our programme will deliver at least 10 practical sessions against 20 laser and light treatment modalities using at least 12 differnet systems.
Workshops are supported by manufacturer/distributors including ABC Lasers, Aesclepion, Aestheticare, Candela, Carleton, Cutera, Cynsosure and Syneron.
The workshop programme will cover the following applications
Q-switched lasers for tattoo and pigmented lesions - Ruby and Nd:YAG - 532, 694 and 1064nm
Hair removal applications - Alexandrite, Nd:YAG, Diode and IPL - 755, 800-810, 1064nm and Broadband light
Vascular lasers - Nd:YAG, Pulsed Dye and Diode lasers - 532, 585, 595, 940, 980 and 1064nm
Non ablative systems - Pulsed Dye, Nd:YAG, Near IR and RF - 858, 1064 – 1500 and Radio frequencies
Ablative lasers - Erbium and CO2 - 2790, 2970 and 10,600nm
This knowledge and expertise will be smoothly transferred and assessed through a programme of in-course assessment and feedback.
Finally, work-place assessment is carried out through the completion of a log-book and a 3,000 word Case Study, demonstrating the application of skills and knowledge in a clinical setting.
This course is the most comprehensive and practical laser training course available today.
