Since introducing tattoo removal in 1993, Jo has introduced an extensive range of laser and non-laser treatments. "I pride myself on running a clinic which is entirely focused on each client's individual needs. My staff are not target driven, and we operate a policy of complete honesty, even when this means advising no treatment at all."

Dr. Helen Fernandez has worked for Mapperley Park Clinic since 1993 and is one of the country's most experienced injectors. She was among the first ever cohort of Doctor trainees for BOTOX injections and has been a trainer on our own injectables courses. Dr. Fernandez has delivered every injectable treatment ever delivered by Mapperley Park (Surgeons may also deliver under Practising Privileges), so if you have an injectable procedure at Mapperley Park, you will see Helen, unless you would prefer to speak to a surgeon.

Sarah is a qualified Radiographer. Sarah joined the Mapperley Park Group in 2004, and since joining our team has taken the Core of Knowledge, as well as the nationally recognised BTEC Hair Award.

Karen is a qualified Beauty Therapist currently studying for her BTEC qualification. Karen has 10 years of laser experience and joined Mapperley Park Clinic in 2010.

Jojo joined us in 2011 from the NHS. She is a Registered Nurse with a particular interest in Aesthetics.

Harris is a Plastic Surgeon working within the NHS who specialises in Skin Cancers. He has worked for a number of years at Nottingham and Derby's NHS hospitals. He is Mapperley Park Clinic's Hair Transplant surgeon, specialising in Micro-Follicle Transplantation. As well as this he also performs all of our Vaser Lipo and Blepharoplasty procedures and operates a 'see-and-treat' clinic for lumps, bumps, moles and cysts.

We are delighted to welcome Andrew Icke to our Transplant team. Andrew will be working closely with Mr. Haseeb to ensure the smooth running of the transplant theatre. Andrew is a recipient of the Transplant Procedure and happy to discuss this with anyone wishing to do so.

Mr. Braithwaite is a Vascular and Endovascular Surgeon and specialist in treating patients with varicose veins. He has been treating varicose veins since 1992 and has been a Consultant Vascular Surgeon at Nottingham University Hospital since 2000. He treats, on average, around 40 people with varicose veins per month in both the NHS and independant Healthcare Sectors. He trained in Cambridge, London, Oxford and the USA. www.bdb.org.uk

Mr. Henley has been a Consultant Plastic, Reconstructive and Aesthetic Surgeon to the Nottingham and Derby NHS hospitals since 1994. He has an interest in both Aesthetic surgery and surgery of cleft lip and palate. Mr. Henley graduated MB ChB from the Univeristy of Birmingham Medical School in 1980. www.markhenley.co.uk

Dr. Dorothy MacKinlay is a Clinical Psychologist with 40 years' experience working in the NHS. She has specialised in work with chronic illness and paediatrics. In addition she is trained in hypnotherapy and is an EFT practitioner and uses these techniques as part of an evidence based approach to dealing with presenting problems.

Stan Batchelor is Head of Radiation Safety, Guys & St Thomas NHS Foundation Trust and Honorary Senior Lecturer at Kings College London. Stan runs a team of 11 Medical Physicists and 3 Technologists providing a multi-faceted service and has lectured on the Mapperley Park BTECs since 2006.

Dr. Patel qualified in Medicine and Surgery in 1996 and founded London based VIVA clinic in 2003, where he is the Medical Director. He has extensive experience in the treatment of acne, acne scarring and pigmentation. Dr Patel has a keen academic interest in medical education. He is currently working on a revolutionary technique to modify burn scars and surgical scars using ablative fractional laser. Dr Patel is a founder member of the Society of Cosmetic Physicians and Surgeons (UK).

Paul is a qualified Laser Protection Advisor ensuring laser safety at Mapperley Park and has provided laser safety services to more than 100 clinics and hospitals in the UK.

Paul also holds teaching qualifications and leads the Mapperley Park Training team, delivering Core of Knowledge and BTEC Qualification delivery.

Gordon has been our Non Executive Director since 2005. He brings a wealth of experience from his 35 year career in banking, including a number of years working in the City of London and a subsequent 10 year career working with a variety of owner managed businesses throughout the East Midlands.

Latoyah Allen is the Training Coordinator for Mapperley Park Training and Consultancy. Latoyah is responsible for the administration of Mapperley Park’s laser training courses.

Emily graduated from Bath Spa University in 2007 with a BAHons Degree in Drama Studies and has been working at the clinic since June 2007. As well as Senior Administrator Emily is also Mapperley Park’s resident Make-up expert, offering free consultations and tutorials on our fabulous range of mineral and camouflage make-up.
