Juvederm, Sculptra & Radiesse

Dermal Fillers

The Dermal Fillers we use are crystal-clear, non-animal, biodegradable gels based on a natural substance, called hyaluronic acid, also containing a local anaesthetic which facilitates a much less uncomfortable treatment. The gel is injected into the skin in tiny amounts with a very fine needle. The result is instantaneous and produces a long-lasting, natural enhancement, gentle and safe to your skin.

We use several different brands of Dermal Filler here at Mapperley Park Clinic, and we do not have a vested interest in any particular one, so you will be recommended the filler which is right for you.

BEFORE LIP AUGMENTATION WITH JUVEDERM SMILE 

4 WEEKS AFTER TREATMENT

For lines and wrinkles in the lower face, augmenting of lips and filling of lip lines, and for wrinkles in the upper face (for those who have decided against other injectable treatments), we offer Juvederm 2, 3, 4 and Smile. This versatile range of Dermal fillers can be used to treat a wide variety of facial lines and wrinkles, as well as correcting facial asymmetry. An anaesthetic cream is usually applied half an hour before the treatment to minimise discomfort, although this filler actually contains an anaesthetic so is less uncomfortable than most already.

For volume loss in the cheeks we offer Sculptra or Radiesse. Which of these fillers is indicated for you will depend on your consultation, which is entirely free of charge.

We also offer Radiesse treatment for the backs of hands. This filler targets the hollowing effect that occurs as the skin on the backs of the hands thins, making tendons and veins appear more prominent.
