Injectable Training

Can anyone attend?

No, only qualified doctors, nurses or dentists can attend. We will ask for your GMC number when you book onto your course.

Do I have to do the beginner course first?

Yes. It is important you understand the basic techniques before advancing.

If I have completed a beginner course elsewhere, can I attend an intermediate course with you?

You may be eligible providing the course you have previously attended follows the same course structure as ours. We would require details of where you attended the course so we can confirm with your previous training provider that the courses are compatible. We would also require a copy of your certificate of attendance.

Am I qualified once I have attended an injectable course with Mapperley Park Training Academy?

The course is not a formal qualification, but it does provide you with relevant knowledge and understanding, which should enable you to be insured to offer these treatments. At the end of the course you will be given a Certificate of Attendance as evidence that you have completed the course.

Do I complete any practical training as part of the course, or is it all theory?

Our courses are split into 50% theory, 50% practical. During the practical element, following a comprehensive demonstration, you will have the opportunity to practice on live models. Included in your course fees are two models for filler training and three models for Botox (possible nine areas in total).
