The Service-specific Standards relevant to services provided by private medical practitioners (e.g. Botox ® , fillers, Lipostabil) fall under the Private Doctors Standards. These are also known as the ‘PD-Standards', and apply to:

- Private walk-in medical centres, where services are provided by a medical practitioner

- Exclusively private medical practitioners (i.e. those who do no NHS work at all)

There are 12 PD-Standards. PD1 – PD8 refer to Independent Clinics. PD9 – PD12 refer to independent medical agencies. The 12 PD-Standards are:
