What the inspectors say

The Mapperley Park Clinic was inspected by the Healthcare Commission in November 2004 and an inspection report was published in December 2004. See our details on the Healthcare Commission website..

We are proud of our clinic's performance and believe that the inspection accurately reflects our service. The report is a technical document of 33 pages and is written in a dense jargon and might be difficult to interpret. The inspector's summary might be the most useful part of the report and it includes the following statements:

"The clinic invests time and money into ensuring the maintenance of high quality services and regularly audits its services in the constant endeavour to improve. Training is a priority and the building houses a training college concentrating on laser and Intense Pulsed Light courses.

Mapperley Park Clinic has demonstrated that all of the National Minimum Standards were met with no areas of non-compliance.

The Quality of clinical care and treatment was delivered to a very high standard, in line with accepted professional guidelines and recommendations."

There were no requirements or recommendations as to how the clinic might improve its service or further fulfil its statutory obligations.
