Laser Nurse Practitioner

Note: Allied Healthcare Professionals are included in this description.

                       

Main Function of the Position

To work as a member of the treatment team as a healthcare professional, undertaking the range of laser, Intense Pulsed Light and associated aesthetic treatments for which you have received appropriate training.

 

Responsible to

Directors, Clinical Supervisors.

 

Responsible for

Self and the safety of patients and others.

 

Main tasks of the Position

1.   To carry out treatments, assessments and consultations as required by the appointments diary. The treatments may be drawn from:

 

• Laser/Intense Pulsed Light treatments for which training will be provided.
• General skin care treatments for which instruction may be required.
• Specialist treatments for which training may be required.
• Treatments might include those not introduced at this date.
• Working with clinical supervisors in respect of rotas, training and clinical governance.

 

2.   To support the team’s work through administrative duties, marketing and promotions as required.

 

The employer is a small business and flexibility is required; the successful applicant will be required to work on whatever reasonable elements of the business that may be needed at a particular time including staff support, clinic events such as open days and reception cover.

 

Evening and Saturday working will be required on a rota basis.

 

Salary

Negotiable, minimum £24,000
