We are thrilled to announce that Dawn Harwood, former Healthcare Commission Senior Professional Advisor, has joined Mapperley Park Training as Managing Director of Consultancy and Training to develop our recognised and respected training centre.

A new Mapperley Park office and training delivery in London will be in addition to the existing Nottingham centre, and will put our delivery at the heart of London's cosmetic centre.

We will continue to deliver courses in all aspects of lasers and pulsed light application and our competence based course, Botulinum Toxin Type A for cosmetic use, continuing the high quality training we have been providing the aesthetic industry for five years. We believe investment in London delivery will enable us to reach more of the market and help raise training standards in the cosmetic industry.

Dawn has worked at the Healthcare Commission/NCSC for almost six years, most recently as the Commission's lead for laser and Intense Pulsed Light. Dawn has been very involved with the criteria and methodology development for Standards for Better Health and the review of the Independant Regulations and National Minimum Standards.

The training provider is already extremely well respected in the industry and I'm looking forward to using that as a platform to take training forward and grow the service, helping to raise standards in cosmetic treatments delivery."

London delivery will be launched in 2008 and we will continue to deliver courses in Nottingham.
